Perhaps no president has reached out to other countries the way that President Obama did. He offered money to our enemies.
He apologized for American exceptionalism and success. He repeatedly moved the proverbial red line so that other countries would not be impacted by American ideals and security.
Worst of all, Obama left a power vacuum in the Middle East that gave rise to ISIS. The rise in Islamic terrorism across the world in Obama’s wake is alarming, to say the least. Yet Obama did not seem upset by this.
No matter how violent terrorists became or how many times they praised their god while killing others, Obama refused to do anything but praise Islam.
According to Angry Patriot Movement, Fox News host Sean Hannity recently aired a montage video of all the “moments where Obama praised radical Islam.”
There are more than four minutes of non-stop praises for Islam and denial of American values.
“We are no longer a Christian nation,” Obama said.
“One of the points I want to make is if you took the number of Muslim-Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.”
If that is the truth, then why are we still a target of every Islamic extremist group? Perhaps it is because many people here share the values asserted by ISIS. And likely many people here fear standing up against their religious extremists.
“My father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims,” Obama said as he fondly recalled hearing the calls to prayer when living with family in Indonesia.
“We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world.” He repeatedly praised Islamic art, culture, education and innovation.
“Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism. It is an important part of promoting peace.”Tell that one to the thousands of victims of Islamic extremism.
“I also know civilization’s debt to Islam,” Obama added that it was Islam that paved the way for Europe’s enlightenment and renaissance.
Someone should tell historians that one. They thought the enlightenment came about following the study great philosophers and the formation of wealthy nations that allowed more people to study, learn and create.
President Obama asserted that it was the responsibility of Western countries to ensure that nothing impedes Muslims from practicing their religion in the way they see fit. It is this last assertion that is among the most troubling.
It presumes that Islam should be given a special place in American society where others are prohibited based on the separation of church and state.
It presumes a violation of our Constitution.
How can a president say such things?
